1. What is SDA? 

Sustainable Development Agency (SDA) is an organisation that is founded to actualise and solve problems that do correspond to the matters of  sustainable development (SD), as well as to implement the idea of SD in education, culture, politics, economy and society.   Sustainable development is a sort of development, that brings forward in its basis the term, that realisation of present processes shouldn't endanger our future generations. It is a modern way of thought, that expands our understanding of responsibility and defines its borders following not only out of the interests of one society, but trying to learn about each processe's long-term benefits and losses in a global scale.

2. What does SDA do?

SDA develops and implements projects, in order to raise the social awareness about the importance of the main ideas and the impact of sustainable development on our furture (for more information, please, check the "Calendar"). Special attention is paid to the education processes, so that in the nearest future the education system should be able to prepare competent specialists, who would be able to evaluate the issues not only from their proffessional point of view, but also  in a global scale in order to evaluate their work's influence on the future generation. This kind of education increases the concurence abilities on the European labour market, ensuring Latvia's future. SDA considers important to create a network of NGOs that propose the ideas of sustainable  development, as well as to link successful ideas with competent and experienced specialists of govenrmental, science, political and economical sector.

3. Who are SDA?

SDA unites young, creative, enthusiastic and modern thinking members, who are motivated by the idea of sustainable development.

4. What does SDA offer?

SDA offers a chance to learn more about the idea of sustainability and it's opportunities, as well as gives a chance to take part in various projects and events, in order to gain and share the experience and positive thoughts, it also gives a chance to meet and get to know people, who implement the idea of a healthy, happy, responsible and creative society through sustainable thinking.
